Imagination charity golf day

Imagination charity golf day

On Monday 22nd October 2012, Imagination took to the fairways at Aldenham Golf Club for their inaugural charity golf day.

This event was hosted in support of research into Congenital Muscular Dystrophy (CMD), a rare muscle wasting disease.
In total 28 golfers teed up rather nervously, however, everyone embraced it, gave a little smile and smashed their drives down the fairway. Lots of fun was had and going by the tales in the bar afterwards, the play was generally very good.

Congratulations to the winners: Paul Smorthit (jnr), Andy Lancaster, Rob O’Flaherty and Simon Pratt, who will be the first to have their names engraved on the fabulous trophy.
The day was a great success and we surpassed our target by raising an amazing £1,296 for CMD research. If you would still like to make a donation to this great cause, then please visit
We now aim to make this an annual event, so please dust off your clubs, and let’s make the spring golf day an occasion to remember.
